Assignment: Due December 4th

You will write and present a final paper using a minimum of 3 references. You many use

power point or prezi for your presentation. Your presentation should include a minimum of 5

slides.

The paper will be a minimum of 4 pages in length not including your cover or reference

pages, 12pt font, typed, double spaced. NOTE: Your paper should include a cover and

reference page.

APA formatting is required

Part 1 (40%) A. You will identify and write about a current challenging clinical or administrative health

related issue or dilemma. You will present the historical context and significance of the

problem as it relates to population health.

B. You will identify the role that different health professionals play (at least 2 health professionals) in managing or solving the healthcare issue and explain why their role is

important.

Part 2. (40%) A. Using the same issue or dilemma you will identify how being culturally competent or

culturally aware is important for solving or addressing the dilemma as a healthcare

professional.

B. Identify a culturally competent communication method that you would employ to the dilemma and provide information about why you selected this method This will require

you to create a use case scenario. (information about the method will be found on the

HHS assignment)
